چکیده
This study aims to characterize different Salmonella enterica subsp molecularly. strains (n=49) were isolated from human gastrointestinal cases in the Tolima region and poultry Santander regions using PCR-RFLP, PCR-ribotyping, PCR-SSCP. The band patterns obtained with each technique analyzed by building dendrograms based on Unweighted Pair Group Method Arithmetic mean (UPGMA) method Dice coefficient. On other hand, discriminatory power of was assessed Simpson's index. genetic profiles gnd gene AciI restriction enzyme PCR-SSCP carried out groEL allowed inter-and intraserovar differentiation. Finally, PCR-ribotyping exhibited highest (0.8571). In conclusion, we show three PCR-based genotyping methods providing an alternative for identifying similarities differences within geographic biological regions.

Genotyping of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi strains
Results Forty representative S. Typhi strains belonged to 4 sequence types (ST1, ST2, ST890, and ST892). The predominant S. Typhi genotype (31/40) was ST2 and it had a diverse geographic distribution. We discovered two novel STs – ST890 and ST892. M-CGH showed that 69 genes in these two novel STs were divergent from S. Typhi Ty2, which belongs to ST1. In addition, 5 representative Typhi strains...

Background and Aims: Colorectal cancer is considered to be an important cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Anti-cancer properties of probiotic lactic acid bacteria are considerable for treatment of cancers such as colorectal cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the molecular characterization of probiotic bacterial isolates from collected stool specimens in west of Mazandara...
متن کاملMolecular characterization of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium isolated from human, food, and animal sources in Malaysia.
Salmonella Typhimurium is an important nontyphoidal Salmonella serovar associated with foodborne diseases in many parts of the world. This organism is the major causative agent of nontyphoidal salmonellosis in Malaysia. We aimed to investigate the genetic profiles of the strains isolated from clinical, zoonotic, and dietary sources in Malaysia using multilocus variable number tandem repeat anal...
متن کاملCharacterization of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium strains of veterinary origin by molecular typing methods.
Twenty-eight strains of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium were characterized by three PCR-based methods. Ten strains harbored type I integrons and two different integron profiles were detected. Typing by amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) resulted in observation of 10 profiles that differed by one to six bands. Salmonella strains were screened for presence of phage genes using ...
متن کاملSubtyping of Salmonella enterica isolated from humans and food animals using Pulsed-Field Gel Electrophoresis
Salmonella infections are the second leading cause of zoonotic bacterial foodborne illness. Main source of infection in human is contaminated food products. The aim of this study was sub typing isolates of Salmonella entericaobtained during our previous study byPulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE) technique. All 46 Salmonella isolates were serotyped and then subjected to PFGE. Total isolates...
